Banana Pancakes have changed our lives. In our quest to start living a more healthy life we have begun waking up earlier to start our day right with breakfast. Yes, I said Breakfast! For years we had been skipping breakfast, we would either sleep through it or skip it on purpose. Even when we’re we’re in school we would never eat Breakfast. We would make excuses like “We don’t have time” or “We’ll feel sick if we eat food this early in the day”.
Not eating breakfast was very normal for us and that was NOT ok. Our bodies had become so used to…well, skipping breakfast; We hardly missed it. We skipped it so many years we forgot how yummy and how necessary it can be. So, we started eating breakfast a few weeks ago and Banana Pancakes have become our favorite choice. They’re packed with fruit and protein + they’re a wonderful, healthy alternative to regular pancakes. We love this recipe so much and we never have to use syrup or honey (you can use all natural maple syrup or honey if you like). We just top our Banana Pancakes with banana and Cinnamon and it’s absolutely delicious!
